A new walking event is being established in the memory of Petersfield journalist Jon Walker.

The Jon Walker Memorial Walk is planned for Friday 29 September as part of the Petersfield Walking Festival.

The event is open to everyone and will raise money for The Rosemary Foundation.

Organiser Beth Svarovska explains how the event will take in local pubs familiar to Jon. She is speaking to Shine Radio's Stephen Martin outside The Harrow Inn in Steep.
