Walk By Faith Or Run With Fear

Listen Later

Morning, afternoon, evening whatever the case may be, Donna here for you personally!
On this episode titled, " Walk by faith or run with fear, begins with a question.

What are you walking by faith FOR or running with fear FROM?

We find ourselves, doing both walking by faith believing for a relationship, job, or circumstances and/or situations to change.

A close friend of mine was going through a hard time about being rejected , or a person he/she wanted a relationship with chose someone else; this person wrote:
"Being single as a believer, does not mean you are available, it means you are reserved, unless you are living by the system of the demonic (fleshly) world."

Running with fear from the responsibilities that go along with a relationship, job or the situation and circumstance can be very stressful.

THE REAL PROBLEM is not having FAITH or being in FEAR, but it is NOT knowing who you really are!

We must get two (2) important concepts in order: I call the the A.M. Concept!

Do not be alarm it's not another am morning workout video or some type of diet, but another one of my ACRONYMS.

A FOR Ambition (noun) a strong desire to do or to achieve some thing, typically requiring determination and hard work.  Desire and determination to achieve success.

M FOR Motivation (noun) the reason or reasons one has  for acting or behaving in a particular way.  The general desire or willingness of someone to do something .

Therefore, we must create a bridge for our ambition and motivation to meet. We do this by examining, why we are running in fear, which could date back to us not purging poverty consciousness stuck in years past.  For example, growing up wearing hand-me-down clothes  from family members and shopping at thrift stores, I developed a poverty consciousness of not buying designer clothing, even when I had the money.  Another example is my culture environment of having only one parent, but raised in a neighborhood of  a "Brady Bunch" community. For years I felt like I didn't need to be married or have a man in my life, just a friend with benefits.

In dealing with walking by faith, static show we walk in faith more than we run from fear. For example, we lay down believing we are going to wake up the next day, working 8 hours a day, five days a week, having faith that our paycheck will be honored at the check cashing play, and deposit directly to our checking account every week or bi-weekly. Right?

Here's three (3) quotes to back up this topic of faith and fear from three (3) self-made Millionaires : "The best way out is always through." (Robert Frost), "Work within the rim of what you have ACCESS to". (Nipsey Hussle), "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream". (Mr. Les Brown).
Hey, walking by faith does not mean we do not face fear, we just don't let it run our life!

I was starting to wonder what in the world was I thinking? How could a old dumb black chic make it in a University like this; and  somehow automatically comprehend this level of teaching, let alone learn from it after barely finishing high school and no continual education whatsoever.  At that moment, the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance that a small step of obedience is a giant move towards a blessing. Lord knows I needed a couple of them right about now.
