Walking by the Spirit means following God’s instructions rather than gratifying fleshly desires. Korah’s rebellion illustrates the dangers of jealousy, covetousness, pride, and deception—traits that lead to division within communities of faith. When we walk by the flesh, we create division; when we walk by the Spirit, we foster unity. God takes division seriously, as shown by His severe response to Korah’s rebellion. To maintain unity, we must embrace humility, servanthood, contentment with our calling, and value for others’ gifts. By walking in the Spirit, we can overcome division and build up the body of believers in unity and love.
