This month the podcast has been recorded in the studio after a microphone malfunction left Sean’s original attempt at recording it a mix of static and buzzing. Sean promises to be back outdoors for the next episode of the podcast.

Sean takes the opportunity to answer some of the most common questions that have been asked by followers of Walk Fife over the past month.

He explains the reason for advertising on the website and how it funds the cost related to the running of the Walk Fife website and plans to do away with adverts altogether.

Sharing news is the topic of another question and Sean explains how you can share your stories with fellow walkers.

This past month has seen the addition of a “History Walks” category to the website. The first route featured under this category takes us on a walk around Dunfermline stopping off at the many different historic locations scattered around the ancient capital.

The Fife Pilgrim Way (http://fifecoastandcountrysidetrust.co.uk/Fife-Pilgrim-Way_68.html) has gained funding from the National Lottery and Sean talks about how the route is going to benefit from the money and why routes like this are important to the walking community.
