Group projects don’t usually go well if we try to do it all ourselves. They are intended to be done in groups to share the load while using every involved individual’s greatest strengths so that it yields the best possible result. In fact, when you think about it, there isn’t much in life that we can successfully do on our own. So, as God leads us through the launch of this new church, are we going to be all in, “striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,” as Philippians 1:27 instructs us? That is the only way this new church can have any kind of positive impact for Christ, and this town desperately needs it. This Sunday, we’re starting a 5-week series through Ephesians chapter 4, titled “WALK.” As we look at Ephesians 4:1-6, we’ll be challenged to see what kind of church and people we should be in light of who God is and the mission he has set for us as followers of Jesus.
