Poor choices in life will have negative consequences that we never saw coming.  But even good choices in following Christ and honoring God will have amazing consequences that we may not see coming either!  Just because we don't know the outcome, we need to follow Christ with faith and boldness, and let God take care of the rest!

We all know how to make excuses for our bad behavior and poor choices.  Maybe we claim it's someone else's fault, or that we were born that way, or we were influenced to do, the Devil made us do it, or maybe we say it's God's fault!  No matter what the excuses are, God continually calls us into faithfulness and obedience, so let's not miss the blessings of being faithful to our faithful God!

God desired for His people to learn lessons from struggling....and the struggle was for holiness and against false gods that did not belong around them.  As believers in Christ, we can find the same value to that struggle against things that do not belong in our lives, and have victory in Christ and through Christ!
