“For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe him.” (Matthew 21:32)Today, those who know that they want a better way of living purposely disavow trust in their flesh. They do not trust time, money, things, education, position, friends, or power but place their life, by trust, in Jesus’s life resident within. The onlooker marvels at those who prove how to gain peace and purpose in this life. Not everyone who says, “I am a Christian” is a Christian. Those who obey the Father’s command not to put any confidence in the flesh are Christians. We put our confidence in Holy Spirit’s living our choices by letting us receive His desires as our desires.Stand in His will. See Jesus and trust Him.Father, Your desire is that I sit. When addressed, stand. When called to walk, I walk in Your trust.
