Walking His Way

So many foolish decisions and encounters occur because someone is not thinking ahead or alert to his surroundings. Suddenly he feels trapped (sometimes to his immediate sensual delight) and feels he has to do something dangerous or compromising. This command tells us how to avoid the traps of life's temptations. 

Everyone gets discouraged, but success and victory always belongs to those who persevere. Paul challenged the early believers to Stand Fast and never quit serving the Lord no matter how discouraged or disillusioned we might become with our circumstances. Listen for how to do it. 

You would think that after all these centuries mankind would recognize the lies that suddenly come into our mind to convince ourselves that we must commit a sin (or various sins) to be satisfied. To accomplish almost anything worthwhile in life requires great personal sacrifice, but few can become really great without enormous talent. However, any believer can sacrifice his time, energy, abilities, and life to learn to love people as Jesus did. It doesn't take enormous talent to please God and be used of God to love on unlovely and strange people who have never heard of Who He is and What He did. Anyone willing to die to selfish desires and egotistical ambitions in order to demonstrate that the love of Christ is the greatest satisfaction in this life. Listen on if interested. 

We tend to be so egotistical that everything should work just the way we want it to. When it doesn't we gripe and complain to everyone about how unjust, unfair or unlucky our situation has resulted, and fail to recognize there likely is a plan behind it all.  This podcast will explain how God works His will into our lives for good purposes.
