Walking In Authority Through Submission
Session 1
October 2, 2022
Matthew 16:5-27
Today’s crisis can cause us to forget His track record of faithfulness.
(Matthew 16:5-12)
We wrongly see the need/problem
He is still the “Anointed One” and still the Son of God. He has all ability and He is present in and with us. (Matthew 16:13-17)
We have a perspective problem.
I/you can’t fix this …. But we can cooperate with the Lord who can fix it!
The revelation of who He is constitutes a living, relational, personal connection. (He is present; He gets it; He will handle it.)
The miraculous and the mundane.
Matthew 16:18, 19 Binding and loosing authority is NOT for our personal comfort and enjoyment! It IS given for the defeat of spiritual enemies AND the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
NEXT…. Matthew 16:21-25 …. Our position to receive and walk in authority is all out SURRENDER.
