Scripture: “Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy…” – Luke 10:19 (NKJV)
Devotional Message:
As children of God, we are not meant to live defeated or fearful lives. Jesus has given us kingdom authority—the divine power to stand against darkness and enforce heaven’s victory on earth. This authority is not based on human strength or merit but on our identity in Christ. When we walk in this awareness, we no longer react to challenges with fear, but with faith-filled declarations of God’s Word.
The enemy thrives where ignorance prevails, but authority is exercised where revelation is alive. When you know who you are in Christ, you stop begging for victory and start walking from victory. Every believer carries the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, empowering us to command peace in storms, rebuke sickness, and resist the enemy.
Walking in kingdom authority requires humility and obedience. It’s not about domination, but alignment—yielding fully to God so His power can flow through us. Authority flows from submission; when you stay under God’s covering, you operate with heaven’s backing.
Today, Ask Yourself:
Am I walking in the authority Christ has given me, or am I still allowing fear and doubt to rule my responses?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving me authority in Christ. Teach me to walk boldly, speak Your Word with faith, and live daily as a true ambassador of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
