Isaiah 2:5
New Living Translation
5 Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord!
Isaiah 2:5 states, “Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the Lord.” This powerful call urges us to abandon darkness and embrace the light offered through a relationship with God. In a world filled with uncertainty and confusion, God's light serves as our guide, illuminating the path we should follow.
Walking in the light signifies living according to God's Word and aligning our lives with His will. The context of this passage speaks to the hope of the future, where nations
will turn to God and live in peace (Isaiah 2:2-4). This reflects the core message of the Gospel—the invitation to come to Christ, who is the true light (John 8:12).
