When entering into a dating relationship or courtship, it is absolutely vital to walk it out in the wisdom of the Lord. God desires for us to walk out this relationship in purity, transparency, accountability and community. These key elements must be agreed upon from the very beginning of the relationship. God has called us to walk out relationships in the context of community, to surround ourselves with trustworthy people with whom we can be transparent, and to walk in the joy of a clear conscience and a pure relationship! Even if it has not been walked out in purity, up to this point, we can reset the dynamics of the relationship and, from this day forth, walk it out in purity - without grieving our consciences and without grieving the Holy Spirit.
