We have now been examining and I hope been taking a close look into our lives at the presence of the Holy Spirit and His reflection into our lives these past few weeks. So that leads us to the question are will willing to be used of the Spirit- Do we truly desire to serve God whole heartedly or do we merely use it as a crutch to fall back on when things don-t seem to go the way we had planned. When we take Christ to be our savior the Holy Spirit comes upon us, truth is were it not for the Spirits conformation of the word of truth to us we would never accept Christ in the first place. But how many of you take the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit in your lives for granted- You may be surprised to know just how easy it is to do so. So this is why we must be on guard that the Spiritual power given unto you through a righteous walk with the Spirt is not lost, but rather that it is cherished in our lives as believers. You have a choice to follow Christ or not but far too many straddle the fence. When you continually venture into those areas were temptation lurks you will eventually fall. Are you aware of sin in your life- Do you say I am good and I may do no wrong- Do you connect Sin in your life with those events which are intended to bring it to your attention- Far too often the signs are missed and the flesh begins to think I won I got away with it. This builds within you an attitude of denial of sin in your life. You will never get away with sin as we will see, God-s plan will always prevail as hard as you may try even unwillingly to stop it, God always wins. You will also always experience consequences for your sin even if you don-t always connect
