'Tis the season for wishes. Just admit it, we all have a special something we'd like to get under the tree-whether we believe we will or not. But this isn't the only time of year we want something. Each of us has desires for our lives, our relationships and our future. As we look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus together, we have to remember how much this birth promised to bring us: hope, peace, love, joy. But can we really expect to have all of that? Is this merely seasonal sentimentality?
