Not everyone is qualified to lead God’s people, and those that do so should approach the responsibility soberly because God holds leaders to a higher standard. In today’s message, Pastor David teaches us that a Church leader or elder should have knowledge of the word of God and wisdom gained through life experience. Church elders should also be of good reputation and a willing and kind servant to all. We need only look to Jesus, the Good Shepherd, for the perfect example of servant leadership.
