This week we're handing off the Wantpicks to a rising producer out of LA, the 21 year old whiz-kid Clinton VanSciver. Specializing in what he likes to call "Dirty Pop", this music student crosses boundaries, influenced by decades of popular music to create his own sound, described once as sounding like "Vyvanse and Whiskey" (the name of his own excellent podcast). He's been tearing it up with tons of fresh releases like the 'Indie Anna Jones' EP on Dim Mak Records earlier this year, and even a personal shout-out from Steve Aoki himself. It's clear that this is just the beginning for Clinton, and we're excited to feature him this week - Enjoy the mix!
