In "Condition Black" you'll only do what you have been trained to do - no more, no less. That is why it's a good idea to go over the recommended SOP of a self-defense shooting. Talk it through with your spouse, your kids, and your friends. Write out quick reference cheat sheets for them. Do whatever you can to help you and your family from going into condition black.
