Jimmy Mosconis was wounded while fighting in Vietnam.  He was an accomplished leader of soldiers as a Non Commissioned Officer.  In May 1969 he organized US troops to rescue Jan Scruggs, Founder of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, who was badly wounded and unable to continue firing his rifle  at the North Vietnamese soldiers.

Jimmy has become a great success in business and owns the famous Bay City Lodge in Apalachicola Florida.   He has fishing guides and acomodations for fishing enthusiasts and their family.
