At our Warfare Wednesday Service, Pastor Femi Paul led the congregation in heartfelt prayers following an exhortation titled Bring Me Back to You! Anchored in Psalm 139:23–24, the message was a sincere call for divine examination and redirection. We were challenged to allow God to search our hearts and reveal any “path of pain ” we may be walking on, decisions, habits, pursuits, or patterns that are already producing pain or will inevitably end in pain. The prayer was not merely for relief, but for realignment - to be led back to God’s everlasting way.
Drawing from Isaiah 55 and Proverbs 14, we were reminded that investing time, energy, and resources into what does not satisfy only deepens emptiness. True satisfaction comes from above. The backslider in heart is filled with his own ways, but the one aligned with God is satisfied from above. The charge was clear: stop spending life on what cannot fulfill. Cast every anxiety on Him, because He cares. We march away from pain and into divine direction, abundance, and victory.
Confession: Lord, search me and lead me on Your everlasting path. I refuse the path of pain and choose divine satisfaction.
