This was recorded in the Eddys mountains, a sub-range of the Trinity Mountains, which in turn is a sub-range of the Klamath Mountains, in Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. The night was calm, clear and crisp and the crackling fire slowly dies down as the firewood burns away.
