This animation consists of a single cloud layer whose density shader is warped by the normals of an animated power fractal. Both fractals are animated by the thickness of the cloud layer over the course of the animation, with the cloud's density shader moving upwards and the warping fractal moving downnwards.nbsp; The pace is a little quick but it shows a lot of promise for creating more realistic looking cloud animations.
Other possibilities include using the normals of the terrain as a fixed warping shader and seeing how the clouds change as they are move across the terrain.
