Even something extremely good and beneficial can become destructive if its purpose is not understood, and it is therefore misused or abused. The same can be said for the gospel of Christ. Speaking of Paul’s writings, the scripture, Peter wrote, “which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” (2 Peter 3:16) This sermon discusses some twisted, or warped views of the gospel some have.
