Groundbreaking tennis star James Blakes speaks with weareregalradio.com editor Kyle Means ahead of his appearance at the Powershares Series in Chicago on April 8th.
In Powershares, Blake takes to indoor courts across the country (in Chicago's case at the UIC Pavillion) for a series of one-night tournaments against three other former tennis greats, among them the guys who've come to define American tennis over the past 30 years -- John McEnroe, Andre Agassi and Jim Courier will be his foes in Chicago while Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, Andy Roddick and others will join throughout a run of 13 dates that extend through the rest of the year.
Hear Blake talk about playing his fellow greats in this unique setting and how old rivalries can surface despite their being less on the line than before. Also hear him speak on the continuing efforts to keep diversity in Tennis and the current and future state of American males on the international level as well as how he continues to stay busy in his post ATP-career.
