WARRIOR CROWNS
The “warrior” concept is woven into the entire God Story.
It is logical to look beyond the end of the conflict – to the reward!
Let’s take a minute…
When Jesus returns He will come “with the clouds.”
(Daniel 7:13/Revelation 1:7)
I can only assume those clouds will be men and women of faith from throughout history (Hebrews 12:1).
When God says “all creation groans” to be set free (Romans 8:18-25) – it may be more true for God’s warriors, farmers, and athletes than anyone! (2 Timothy 4:7-8/totally cool!
God is a warrior (Exodus 15:3). Exodus 14:25; Deuteronomy 3:22; Joshua 23:3.
He has called us to be warriors in the good fight (1 Timothy 1:18/1 Timothy 6:12)
We will reign with Him! 2 Timothy 2:12
Why do we engage in the war of faith? To honor our Captain, of course! (1 Peter 2:25/2 Timothy 2:4)
