  • Star Wars: Episode IX director J.J. Abrams has confirmed a script for the film is complete.
    • “We have a script, which is a big deal for me,” Abrams said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When asked when about the start of production, he replied, “It starts shooting end of July.”
    • Abrams added, “Having a script in advance isn’t something I’ve always been lucky enough to have… but I’m writing this with Chris Terrio, who’s a genius, and I’m having a great time.
