Piers Brendon is a biographer, historian and former keeper of The Churchill Archives Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge. John Charmley is a professor of modern British history and head of school at the University of East Anglia. David Edgerton is Hans Rausing Chair in the centre for the History of Science Technology and Medicine, Imperial College London. Douglas Hurd was the British foreign secretary from 1989-95.
