How does the Bible’s commands to submit to the government work with historical events like the American Revolution, Civil War, the World Wars, or the Apartheid in South Africa? Is it okay to overthrow an unjust government? Is there a way that is biblical? Or are we called to work within the established system and trust God will work things out for His good?
