XXXtentacion's death left a legacy that could have changed music.  From the moment he was shot in his BMW i8 by Dedrick D Williams a to now, many have been left with questions.  Who killed XXXTentacion? Is XXXTentacion actually dead? 

However, a much larger question lingers.  Was XXXTentacion a genius?

His influence on music in such a short period of time and unique style that illuminated any boundaries set by a genre, will all be missed.  By the same token, his legacy will live on to innovate the music industry.

XXXTentacion is loved by his fans for a variety of reasons.  Most important of which are how he respected them and how they related to his music.  

XXXTentacion also is a rare breed amongst sound cloud rappers.  He was articulate, a deep thinker, experimental and self-aware.  

A conflicted person due to accusations of abuse of XXXTentaions pregnant girlfriend.  Like many brilliant minds, has a dark side.
