How did Europeans have the audacity and arrogance to tell people who were "civil" or who were "savage" and or uncivil; when the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa were ruled by Moors (African Muslims or Black Caliphate)from 711 to 1492? During that time, the Moors did not try to take over or colonize the Iberian Peninsula and Northern Africa.
