Regardless, we push through… General Horatio Gates scores a massive win at Saratoga. He manages to capture the British General John Burgoyne. This is YUGE! After this win, people start crap-talking George behind his back. Congress decides that Georges needs a little help (aka, they want more say over Washington’s actions); so they design the Board of War to meddle in his affair a little bit. Washington learns of all this crap-talking and finds out about a plot to soil his reputation and replace him from his good-time/long-time friend, Lord Sterling… However, Washington plays it cool (mostly) and puts an end to all this by calling out the players involved.
