Washington Commanders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 2024 NFL Week 1 Preview & Prediction
The Washington Commanders hit the road for week 1 of the NFL season to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This will be QB Jayden Daniels NFL debut. The #2 overall pick leads the Commanders offense against Vita Vea, Antoine Winfield and the Bucs defense. How will Jayden Daniels and this Commanders offense, led by OC Kliff Kingsbury, look to start the season? Will WR Terry McLaurin have a big day?
On the other side, the Commanders defense, run by DC Joe Whitt Jr, will take on QB Baker Mayfield and the Bucs offense. Other prominent names on offense for the Bucs include WR Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and RB Rachaad White. They're also starting a rookie center in Graham Barton, who will be making his NFL debut while attempting to handle DT Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne. Behind them will be LB Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu, who comes over from the Carolina Panthers.
