Watch and Pray Always said the #Lord #JesusChrist to the #Apostles and other listeners. It was addressed in the context to those listeners as a #warning and the main thing #believers should be doing. Set also in the midst of a #society that is #overcharged with or filled up with #Surfeiting [doing something in excess]. As overcharged is more than you can handle within the idea of the context. To fill something "too full". This is #excess.

This is coupled with the words #drunkenness and #caresofthislife. Both words is an action that takes away your awareness of the coming events. In other words we find an event coming "as a snare" on the "whole world" which is so #grievous your partying and #livinglife #blinds you to the #dangers. #Savour of Life, #Persecuted
