Former Marine Brian Easley is trying to return to civilian life, but is faced with the inability to get support from US social services, he is denied a well-deserved pension. Not only is he unable to provide for his family, but he is also experiencing problems affecting his mental health. But even with PTSD, the veteran has to contend with bureaucracy and social inequality. As a result, the former infantryman despairs, his patience reaches its limits. Brian decides to attract the attention of others and commits a crime, he takes bank employees hostage, the man reports that he has a bomb. The police cordon off the surrounding area, negotiations begin, the media becomes aware of the situation and begins broadcasting what is happening on television.
