With everything that has gone on this past week and over the weekend, in lieu of a podcast today we’ve decided to include a link to watch the 2013 film ‘Fruitvale Station’ starring Michael B. Jordan as Oscar Grant. The film follows Oscar’s last 24hrs before he was unjustly killed by BART police in Oakland.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film is hard to watch because it’s true and it captures the inequalities, injustices, and racism that are still felt by African Americans every day.

Oscar’s story is all too similar to the strokes of George Floyd, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Eric Garner, and far too many more.
