In Fr. Stace’s Christmas Eve sermon, we learn how to watch, make haste, and ponder. Like the shepherds, who had the disposition to be available, we watch. Like Mary, in response to the Incarnation, we ought to ‘make haste.’  And still like Mary, in her contemplative response toward our Lord, we ponder. Also, follow along, as Fr. Stace unpacks what we see in Andrei Rublev’s Icon, attached here. It’s a wonderful example of contemplation on the Incarnation.
