If you find a house worth $2,000 a month house for rent on Craigslist for $600.00 and they are asking for a "refundable" $100 deposit to view the place - it's probably this scam. I just had to deal with this scam over the weekend and it affects the landlord and the potential tenant. I am sharing how I find out if my properties are being listed by a scammer and how I deal with the scammers (I may mess with them a little bit).
