Waiting to receive benefits from the recipient of your gift makes your gift a bride to him. Watch what you greedily desire, for it is better to seek God for help to disconnect it; you are better off with what you are greedy with. Whatever your spouse and God isn’t giving you isn’t meant for you; avoid bringing coal of fire upon all you have laboured for. As demons oppress with their power and actions, so does anyone who demands a bribe before performing his duties.
