Mpumalanga- Residents from the Thembisile Hani local municipality have reacted with anger and shock after receiving water bills with huge amounts. Villages managed by the municipality have been experiencing water challenges for many years. Some residents say they do not understand why they are billed because the municipality does not give them water on a daily basis. The area has been having water challenges for decades and water is only supplied on Saturdays. Municipal Manager Dumisani Mahlangu says residents must meet them halfway as a municipality and pay for services.
