Thanks for listening to our podcast! This week we celebrate Epiphany Sunday and the beginning of the Epiphany Season. We are now in the Gospel of Matthew as we follow the Narrative Lectionary, and the sermon this week is on Matthew 3:1–17, the baptism of Jesus. We were delighted to welcome the Rev. Dr. Megan Fullerton Strollo to our pulpit to preach and share with us! Dr. Strollo is professor of biblical languages at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond and traveled with us to the Holy Land as our "theologian in residence" last May. What a gift it was to be able to welcome her to our pulpit to share words of wisdom with us, and to help us reflect as we remembered our own baptisms this past Sunday.
