I went to Arizona a few weeks ago and interviewed Mel McDonald. He lives next door to my Nana and I have known him for most of my life. Mel has one of the best memories ever and he also has kept a journal every day of his life for the past 50 years or so (never misses).  He has written down every conversation and event. 

Ronald Raegan appointed him to be the US Attorney for AZ in 1981 (he'll explain what that is). 

Another thing he tells me about is Watergate and President Nixon.
