CT5510. Master course on design and planning of the urban water management system. It deals with fluxes and processes in water and soil. Furthermore, aspects of water management policy development are discussed.
Lecture on the planning aspects of civil engineering design of the urban water management system. It starts with the importance of understanding the planning process and shows several templates how this can be organized. In addition it elaborates on policy development which proves to be very important to achieve innovations in urban water management. It concludes with the interaction of water and spatial planning.
Lecture of the PhD research of Rutger de Graaf on urban water innovation to reduce vulnerability of urban areas. Showing his findings on both technical concepts as well as the transition management needed to get them implemented on large scale (mainstreaming).
