In our day when the motto of the world is Tolerate or Avoidance when it comes to living in context of society. Sadly the Christian arena has adopted this as what the scriptures term as "worldly wisdom".
In Ephesians (4:1-3) Paul doesn’t endorse either one. He doesn’t advocate Toleration or Avoidance.
But he brings to light a walk that the people of God are called to, that you and me are called to and it is an active walk and an impactful walk. And a Difficult walk!
But a walk that has great effect in making the God of universe known.
