Donnie and Jeff discuss the evolution of the relationship between AVAD dealers and WAVE Electronics, highlighting the challenges dealers faced in getting up to speed with WAVE Electronics during the initial acquisition, COVID, changing business environment in the USA and other obstacles. Many of the branches from the initial integration were closed and not a dedicated team has been assembled to reconnect with those dealers to win back the relationships and earn the business for WAVE Electronics.
Jeff Neilson, former AVAD employee, now serves as the National Sales Manager for the B2B segment of WAVE’s business, focusing on growing the dealer business for previous customers. Donnie McVicker, also a former AVAD team member, is the Senior Director of Sales for WAVE, ensuring that heritage AVAD dealers and WAVE staff have the products and programs needed for success.
In this episode, the guys are joined by longtime industry mainstay Steve Buehler, Owner of Wired for Sound from Southern California.
