We have the most special guest in WAVEHOUSE history, my mother! Can you believe it? we discuss the differences between our generations, In this episode of the wavehouse podcast my mother and i discuss, 

Growing up in Apartheid during the 80's/90's and her experience as a Coloured women in Western Cape and how life was during her early adult years. she brings great insight into the psychology and social dynamics of the nations as she experienced it during her days. 

We also speak about her experience in moving to different parts of the country, and how the language and culture dynamics were during those periods, while I also look to draw parallels as it is today with my generation especially with the Johannesburg kids. 

finally, we discussed the political nature of the generations, and what that looks like and means in different eras, while she ends off by dropping gems on finding fulfillment in work and life.

finally, we end off dicussing Certified Lover Boy & DONDA moreso the beef Leo has with them (or Drake and Kanye themselves), we conclude by giving our recommendation for our fellow insomniacs (a segment we will be keeping in the 2am series from now on)

HOMIES!!! GUESS WHO'S BACK?

DIANA, friend of the show returns to the Wavehouse for this weeks episode of the podcast.
In the episode they start off by reflecting on the first episode they recorded (BARCELONA BENDING, ASTROLOGY & FAST FASHION) and speak on how far they've come since then.

After reflecting we discuss Self-Awareness and Identity, as it seems a year on from the Pandemic, lots of time has been afforded to do so, and they explore this topic.

finally, a discussion is brought in by Diana, and they discuss the redistribution of wealth, and billionaires (mainly the top 5%), this topic is a heated on for both Diana and Leo but the conversation is stimulating and worth listening to.
