Waves Across The Water

Attention!! Tune your Pip-Boy radios and warm up your vacuum tubes! This week, we are diving deep into the radioactive tracklist of the Wasteland to explore the iconic music of Fallout!

The idea is simple, any music across the franchise can be included so games and tv series are all valid. So join us live from the 'Waves Vault 666' this week as we talk about a huge range of songs from iconic artists, how the lyrics match the franchise's theme perfectly, and how post-war music as an 'era' hauntingly fit the situations of an apocalyptic free for all!

Picks this week include; The Ink Spots, Dion, The Five Stars, John Denver, Mart Robbins, Elton Britt, Nat King Cole and so many more. We dig a little into the career of the above too and share some facts and trivia of the artists behind these songs, as well as some fun nucleur facts!

With that said - grab yourselves a Nuka-Cola, sit back, and enjoy our journey through the apocalypse! As always, please send us your fave songs from the games/tv series too!!

Join us this week as we celebrate 3 YEARS of our podcast! We like to dedicate an episode each October to celebrating our journey with you all.

Discussing some of our favourite moments from the past 12 months, our favourite episodes, songs that stuck out and what we have learned. We also talk about what we want to see looking forwards and hopes and aspirations for the future, as well as some fun questions to each other like "What's the funniest moment in the last 12 months that stands out?"

We really do appreciate every single listener, as without you all this wouldn't be possible so if you've been listening to us since our first "A New Beginning" episode, despite how much we like to joke on it's quality it definitely has that authenticty of two new guys learning the ropes - or if you've only recently discovered us we'd like to take the opportunity to say thank you.

So sit back and enjoy this one, as we now move into our fourth year as a podcast and all the exictement that will bring all of us in the journey!

Peace.

This weeks episode we chose to investigate is our Top 5 Song Over 5 Minutes - so strap yourselves in, it's a good one, and a long one!!

We went far and wide to bring songs that differ from our usual themes, and we really enjoyed the pretty much endless boundaries that we had for this episode. We looked at a few new genres that we do not get to explore usually, and of course brought some familiar flavors to the show.

Bands included this week: Tool, Metallica, Ghost, Paramore, Caligula's Horse, Apashe, Pink Floyd and many more!!

Here's a link to our playlist with the songs we discussed, and we hope you enjoy this very fun episode!!

Peace!

Join us this week as we pick out our Top 5 coldrain songs in an episode that turned out to be a very fun (but tough!) week!

We first came across coldrain hearing Mayday from Fire Force (a track Huxy is still listening to over a year later!) and decided when they released the new song "EX-HUMANITY" that it would be the right time to dive deep into their back catalogue.

Through the past week, we have been learning more about the band, how long they have been going and discovering the talent of the band, and lead singer and songwriter Masato Hayakawa

So we hope you enjoy this episode - filled with new and old songs, and of course Mayday makes an appearance! Let us know in the comments or on our socials if you enjoyed this episode and what your favorite coldrain song is!
