These are the chapters in which the Weeping Dragon finally dies, and it very nearly causes everyone's deaths. It's so close, indeed, that Dross doesn't want to even tell Lindon what the odds were even after the fact. However, Lindon does indeed end up with the binding to create a weapon, and we are left to wonder what he's going to make with it when Zeil declines it.
