We continue our 2023 family travel overview as we leave Boston and get ready to visit Southport, NC for one of the best 4th of July festivals in the country. After an abbreviated Southport adventure, we load up 8 days later and head down to the OBX for the first time as we stay in Duck, NC. We love the North Carolina beaches and want to explore as much of this beautiful coast as possible, taking in the natural wildlife like the wild OBX ponies.
