Wayne Dyer spoke very lovingly and often about children. He saw them as pure expressions of spirit—naturally connected to love, joy, and authenticity before society conditions them.

Dyer taught that children thrive when surrounded by acceptance, not judgment.

He reminded parents: “If you want your children to live the kind of life you approve of, you must live it yourself.”

In other words, children learn more from how you live than from what you say.

He warned against forcing children to fulfill unmet dreams of their parents. Instead, nurture their unique gifts and passions.

He often said the greatest gift you can give a child is to allow them to be themselves.

Dyer linked children with purity of spirit. He noted how Jesus said, “Unless you become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

To him, this meant adults should return to that childlike openness, trust, and wonder.
