WBOI Mask Campaign Promotes Public Health, Creativity
Face coverings are one of the most effective ways to contain the spread of COVID-19. While there is still no state-wide mandate on masking is place, several communities now require masks in public, including in Marion, St. Joseph, LaGrange, and Elkhart counties. 89.1 WBOI is about to launch a campaign called “Make Me A Mask” to encourage everyone to express their creativity and promote public health in the process. WBOI Programming Director Katy Anderson and Arts & Culture Reporter Julia Meek joined Ben Clemmer to discuss this project, it’s mission, and how to get involved.
