We dig into 1 Timothy to understand the authority of God’s word in the life of the Christian. The old adage is, “if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for everything.” And in our current world setting, it is important for the Christian to know the power of God’s word (the bible) in their lives so they don’t fall for every secular idea that is out there in the world and settle for nothing.
